Transcript
00:00Hello, everybody.
00:08All right.
00:10Let's begin a few comments at the top, and then I'll be happy to take some questions.
00:14So first, a statement from Special Envoy Steve Whitcoff.
00:18Quote, we have decided to bring our team home from Doha for consultations after the latest
00:23response from Hamas, which clearly shows a lack of desire to reach a ceasefire in Gaza.
00:28While the mediators have made a great effort, Hamas does not appear to be coordinated or
00:33acting in good faith.
00:35We will now consider alternative options to bring the hostages home and try to create a
00:40more stable environment for the people of Gaza.
00:43It is a shame that Hamas has acted in this selfish way.
00:47We are resolute in seeking an end to this conflict and a permanent peace in Gaza.
00:52This week, the United States is advancing a bold and proactive foreign policy that reflects
00:59our enduring commitment to peace and security and prosperity for the American people.
