00:00Video of William McNeil being brutalized by the police in Jacksonville, Florida,
00:08because they claimed he did not have his headlights on in broad daylight is a classic case of driving
00:18while black. And we have to say to the sheriff's department, you can't condone this. You can't
00:26justify this. You must condemn this. You must say the video speaks for itself and that this does not
00:35reflect our training, our policies, or our values. And they should immediately terminate this police
00:43officer. He was a college student doing all the right things. And I have articulated this dynamic
00:52incident of him being brutalized by the police as a 21st century Rosa Parks moment where black
01:02Americans say we're tired of having our rights just violated. We are American citizens. Why do we
01:12continue to have to be disrespected every day in every walk of life? And so he had that moment where
01:20he said, what did I do? Why are you stopping me? Call your supervisor. And for him saying I have a
01:27right to the Fourth Amendment, you see what happened. They're trying to frame a false narrative. No,
01:34believe your eyes, believe your ears. You don't have to listen to them try to spin it. Just watch the
01:41video for yourself. There's nothing you can truly do. I mean, the color of your skin
01:47is seen before you even open your mouth. I'll say it again. William McNeil was stopped for driving
01:58while black. Many people can't understand that in America. They would never know how that feels.
02:05But it happens every day.
