00:26Ang magandang balita na ito ni Pangulo Ferdinand Marcos Jr. kasunod na naging pag-uusap nila ni U.S. President Donald Trump sa White House.

00:33Pasado alas 11 ng umaga sa U.S. o alas 11 ng gabi oras sa Pilipinas,

00:38dumating sa West Wing ng White House ang Pangulo kung saan mismong si President Donald Trump ang sumalubong sa kanya.

00:45Bago pumasok sa Oval Office, sandaling bumati ang dalawang lidari sa media

00:49kung saan inilarawan ni Trump si Pangulo Marcos bilang mas igasig na negosyador sa usapin ng reciprocal tariff.

00:55He's a very tough negosyador. So far we're not there because he's negotiating too tough.

01:01In fact, I used to like him better than I do now. He's too tough.

01:04But we'll probably agree to something. But he is a strong negosyador. He loves your country.

01:10Kasama ng Pangulo na nagtungo sa White House,

01:13si na Presidential Advisor on Investment and Economic Affairs, Secretary Frederick Goh,

01:17at DTI Secretary Christina Roque.

01:19Ayon kay Pangulo Marcos, bagamat 1% lamang ang nabawas sa isinusulong sana ng bansa,

01:25malaking bagay pa rin ito lalo para sa semiconductor industry,

01:29na isa sa pinaka-apektado ng ipapataw na reciprocal tariff.

01:33Sabi ng Pangulo, kasama sa mga napagkasundoan ang pagpapatupadri ng Pilipinas

01:37ng open market o zero tariff rates sa ilang merkado para sa U.S.,

01:42particular sa automobiles.

01:43Habang i-aakyat rin ng U.S. ang importasyon nito sa Pilipinas,

01:47particular sa soy products, wheat at medisina.

01:50So there's several, but also the other side of that is an increased importation

01:55from the United States for soy products, wheat products,

02:01and pharma, actually, medicines, para makamura naman yung maging mas mura yung gamot natin.

02:11So we are coming to those arrangements.

02:15We have, there's still a lot of detail that needs to be worked out

02:20on the different products and the different exports and imports.
