00:00The supply of electricity in the country is sufficient even if the time for heating has been formally declared.

00:05In the new Philippine program now, the Department of Energy Assistant Secretary Mario Maracigan said

00:12that they do not see the possible shortage of electricity supply in the country at the moment.

00:18However, the government continues to carry out simulations to prepare for various situations.

00:25As of May 2025, the country is facing a shortage of electricity.

00:29Temporary shutdown of power plants is also part of the preparations to ensure proper maintenance.

00:36DOE is also preparing mitigation programs such as the Interruptible Load Program
