Thorough forensic analysis of a stolen van has resulted in a man being jailed.

On 11 December 2024, officers recovered a stolen Ford Transit van from the Norfolk Park area of Sheffield. The van had been reported stolen from an address in Todwick, Rotherham, on 7 December.

Digital analysis of the vehicle's dashcam captured a man's voice describing how he was bleeding from a head injury. This voice was identified as 24-year-old Mason Cartledge.
