Perdana Menteri Anwar Ibrahim mengumumkan penangguhan kenaikan kadar tol bagi 10 lebuh raya tahun ini meskipun termaktub dalam perjanjian konsesi. Langkah ini membolehkan rakyat terus menikmati kadar tol sedia ada, dengan kerajaan menanggung lebih RM500 juta kos, termasuk bagi lebuh raya seperti SDE, LPT2, SKVE, LLB dan MEX.
