00:00How did this owl not fly away?
00:03He needs help.
00:05My girlfriend, she did get confirmation from neighbors that the whole neighborhood was just gone.
00:13She's like, I need to go back, I need to see it.
00:15And I said, okay.
00:18Joanne just started walking and checking out her neighbor's houses to see what was left of theirs.
00:24And that's how she came across the owl.
00:27That's a young one too.
00:30Yeah, he needs help.
00:32He's injured.
00:34You have golf ball-sized embers flying at like probably 90 miles per hour.
00:40And I'm sure it got caught on his wing and just singed the heck out of it.
00:45After we caught him, he's like, you know what, I think they're here to help me.
00:48And I'm just going to just lay here and just be.
00:55And nothing was singed other than feathers.
00:58And I'm sure he was terrified.
01:01But he's being rehabilitated.
01:04He's going to make full recovery.
01:06He's doing very well.
01:09Yeah, he's looking a lot better.
01:12He is looking better, huh?
01:13He's alive and well and is thriving now and in just recovery mode.
01:23Sorry, that's my fault.
