Fire officials rescue spotted deer from 45-feet well in southern India

This is the moment a chital, also known as a spotted deer, was rescued from a 45-feet deep well by fire personnel.

The incident occurred in the town of Walajapet in southern India's Ranipet district on Monday (May 25).

Footage shows a large crowd of onlookers watch the spotted deer being hoisted out of the well using ropes.

According to local media, villagers heard a noise from the well and informed the fire department, who rescued the animal.
