00:00Shohei Ohtani got the start yesterday, outing number six for LA, did allow a leadoff home run
00:07to Byron Buxton against the Minnesota Twins in the top of the first, but Ohtani still pretty
00:12strong on the bump. Three innings, only a single earned run, 46 pitches and three Ks. And this is
00:18the greatness of Shohei Ohtani. He allows a leadoff homer, but then in the home half of the
00:24first, directly after Ohtani hits a two-run shot, his 35th dinger of the year, and the
00:31Dodgers never looked back. They snapped their own slide as they were swept over the weekend
00:36by Milwaukee, beating the Twins 5-2. Yeah, we'll see if they can start to, you know, lengthen
00:42out Ohtani here, going three innings as you go to four, does he go to five? And what's
00:45that game plan? And when are you getting him set to be an actual starting pitcher, which
00:48means your expectations are five plus innings every time that you take the mound. But looking
00:53at yesterday, I was like, man, I don't like the Dodgers, catch them while they're down,
00:57Ohtani gives up the one run, but that's okay, one run over three here. And then they came
01:00in, which was the question mark, four and two-thirds innings, pitch five, no earned runs,
01:04four strikeouts and three walks. So he did his job coming in there behind him, and you only
01:08gave up that one run in the top of the ninth inning. So they were in complete control that
01:12entire game right after the first inning. It's a good win for the Dodgers. Worried about their
01:16lineup a little bit because they did get five runs, you like it, but only seven hits through
01:20those nine innings yesterday. We'll see if they turn up a little bit. Mookie Betts got
01:23a base hit, it's got to feel good. Ohtani, as we said again, hit a home run, which is
01:26great. Freddie Freeman returned to the lineup after getting hit with that pitch. He goes
01:30one for four. We'll see if this lineup does wake up, but you got to start in baby steps
01:33sometimes. And that's May with a good start after Ohtani opened the game, and you'll take
01:38that if you're a Dodger fan.
