00:03This is the Indian hockey team's captain, Ronnie Rampel.

00:07She grew up in a small village in Punjab, India.

00:09Her family was poor and she was told to drop out of school and get a job to help make money.

00:14But she had a dream to play in the Olympics.

00:17So she started training hockey at a local club.

00:19She would wake up at 4 a.m. to practice before the sun would rise.

00:23And by 6 a.m. she would be exhausted.

00:26But she didn't care.

00:26She was determined to make her dream come true.

00:29She played in several tournaments and won many medals for India.

00:34And in 2016, she led her team to the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

00:38They didn't win any matches and they placed 6th in the tournament.

00:43But Ronnie was determined to do better.
