00:00I've been doing internet marketing for over 20 years and this is something I started with when
00:04I was a beginner many years ago and it still works to this day. Now if you go out there and search how
00:09to make money online you're probably going to see all kinds of YouTube videos like how to start an
00:13Amazon FBA business and stuff like that but this one is even easier than any of those as a beginner
00:18it's a no-brainer wait till you see it. Now what I love about this is it's actually recession proof
00:23this keeps growing even when the economy is tough and in fact I did this the last time we had a
00:29major recession way back in 2008. I'm still using this in my business today and you can do it too.
00:37Now the thing is 7 out of 10 people probably fail when they try to start an online business and the
00:42reason is they try to pick these super complicated business models or they try to pick a business
00:46that's way too hard for them and then they end up watching endless videos on YouTube and taking course
00:52after course thinking they need to know even more about all this complex stuff before they can even
00:57get started. Maybe that rings a bell with you. You don't need to follow these super complicated
01:02paths to succeed. Instead let me show you something that's very simple that you can start with right
01:07now that doesn't need much money or special skills and you can do it whether you're young or whether
01:12you're kind of older like me. So let me show you how. This is a business model that I like to call
01:17service arbitrage. So let me give you the big picture of how this works. You're going to get a small
01:22business to hire you for a service for around $60 per hour. Then you're going to turn around and get
01:29someone from the Philippines to complete that service for only $5 per hour. Now I did this
01:35way back in 2008 when my family was traveling across the country and as we were camping out in the
01:41mountains having the summer of our lives I was charging $20 for small business services and I had
01:47a guy in the Philippines doing those services for only $5 per hour. So I was pocketing $15 per hour
01:54and I was literally doing zero work. Now fast forward to 2025 you can charge a lot more for online
02:00services. In the U.S. digital services that you can use for a business model like this usually costs
02:07between $25 to $75 per hour. But you can find people in the Philippines to do this exact same work
02:13for between $5 and $10 per hour. Now I'm going to show you how to find small businesses that'll hire
02:21you for this kind of work but first I want to answer an obvious objection. Most people are going to say
02:25isn't this unfair to someone in the Philippines? And the reality is the dollar stretches really far
02:31in the Philippines. So even though you're paying them between $5 and $10 per hour they can get a lot
02:37more for that dollar than they can for Filipino money. Now let me show you how you can find small
02:42businesses to hire you to set up this money-making system. You want to go over to Craigslist and you
02:49want to click on gigs here and you want to click on computer gigs. Now if you're a little bit older
02:54like me you're probably familiar with Craigslist but if you're younger maybe you think that's just a
02:58website for old people. But Craigslist is still a goldmine for finding online computer work like this.
03:05Over 60 million Americans use Craigslist every single month. Now if you go into this
03:11computer gigs section you'll find tons of jobs for writing, social media, fixing websites, entering
03:18data, and even just being a virtual assistant. These businesses are actually posting on Craigslist
03:23asking to hire someone for this exact type of work. Now I'll tell you a trick. If you do a search here
03:30for something like let's say writing, so we only want computer gigs related to writing, then up here in
03:35the upper right you click on this little bell. This will let you enter your email address so you'll be
03:43notified anytime a new job comes up with that specific keyword so you can grab it right away. Being one of
03:50the first to respond gives you a better chance of getting that job. Now once you get a job like this
03:55you're going to turn around and go to a site called onlinejobs.ph. And this is literally where you can find
04:02someone in the Philippines to do the exact task that you were just hired to do for much cheaper
04:09than what you were hired to do it for. Look here let's just say you got hired to do a website. Look
04:13at this web developers $10 per hour, $13 per hour, $6 per hour, and the list goes on and on. Now I think
04:21you'll find that content writers usually charge between three and eight dollars per hour, virtual
04:26assistance between four and eight dollars per hour, and social media and graphic designers are between five
04:31and twelve dollars per hour. That'll kind of give you an idea for the kind of prices you're gonna charge
04:36to the US business that is hiring you. Now something you might not realize but once you get one of these
04:43Filipino outsourcers to work with you they will stick with you for a long time. In fact I have Filipino
04:50outsourcers that I hired way back in the early 2000s when I first started doing stuff like this
04:57and one of them still works for me to this day. Now another trick that I like to do is to hire two
05:05people at the same time to do the same task to see which one of them does a better job. A lot of times
05:12even if you hire two people and pay both of them for the exact task you can still make a profit on that
05:19work once the business here in the US pays you. Now let me show you another way that you can get US
05:26businesses to pay you and then outsource that to the Philippines. If you go over to Google Maps
05:30and you do a search for anything like for example New York Plumbers and you just scroll down the list
05:36here if you scroll down far enough you're eventually going to hit a small business that does not have
05:43a website like this one here NYC 24-7 Plumbing Pros. You might think that every business out there has a
05:52website but that is absolutely not true. In fact according to Forbes magazine one out of three small
05:58businesses still don't have a good website even in today's day and age and you can find them just by
06:04scrolling on Google Maps and a lot of them might not even realize that they need a website it seems
06:09unbelievable but it's true. I know a guy who ran an auto repair shop in Burlington Vermont for 15
06:15years the old-school way just getting business through word of mouth. He had a small ad and a local paper
06:20but after someone got in touch with him offering to build him a simple website he agreed to try a
06:26simple website just offering the shops hours and location and services and it totally transformed
06:32his business. He started earning even more money because customers started coming from neighboring
06:37towns not just those that were in his local area that knew about him. So let's say you found a guy
06:42like this and he agrees to let you build the website here's where things get really crazy. If you go over
06:47to this site called template monster and I like to click on WordPress just because it keeps things simple
06:52and then I'm just going to do a search here for plumber you can see here that template monster has
06:57amazing designed templates already set up for a plumber that you can just go and grab and look at the cost of
07:03these things $54 $36 to use this template you don't even have to be a designer the whole thing is already
07:12designed here you buy the template for only $36 and the rest is profit and you can go over to onlinejobs.ph
07:21type in web developer and get a web developer to do the installation of that template for only $6 per hour
07:30even if it took that web developer 40 hours to set up the website that would be $6 per hour times 40
07:38that would still only cost you $240 and you can even charge them rock-bottom prices and still make
07:46an amazing profit for yourself. Now let's talk about how big this thing could get if you really want to
07:51make this a full-fledged business there's around 543,000 new small businesses starting up in the USA
07:59every single month that means if you just got point zero one percent of these new businesses to buy a
08:07website deal from you that will be 54 possible new customers and remember most of the work is being done
08:14offshore in the Philippines for you let me show you one other trick that'll make this even simpler for
08:19you if you go back to template monster here and you click on this little blue button and over here you
08:24click on services and then you click on web design and dev you can see here they have a service website
08:31installation service for only $49 so that means you could buy a website template for them for $36 then
08:41buy their website installation service for only $49 that means it costs you a total of $85 to get this
08:50website setup that's without you knowing anything about web design or web development or anything
08:56and someone else doing all the work of the setup for you again this is the exact way that I got
09:02started I remember the freedom that I felt when I had someone in the Philippines doing most of the
09:08work for me and I was selling small business marketing services at a profit here in the United States
09:14now the only disadvantage of this whole system is that you have to continually reach out to small
09:21business owners to sell your services whether it be going on Craigslist to find writing gigs or social
09:28media gigs or whether it's going on Google Maps to find businesses without websites you're gonna have
09:34to continually be hustling to find new small businesses that'll hire you for your services and if you
09:41stop hustling for new business the money is also going to dry up and I remember experiencing this
09:47myself which led me to really want to find a more autopilot version of working with small business
09:54owners where I didn't have to work every day at finding new clients in order for the money to come in
