00:06In the case of Kilmar Arbrego Garcia, there's been a lot of discussion on whether he will be deported if he's released ahead of trial.
00:14What's your perspective on whether to have him deported and potentially not stand trial because he'll be in another country?
00:24How would that work and what's the perspective?
00:27He's standing trial now, and I hope he faces consequences for his crimes and that that will be something that we will be able to deliver
00:35for the people that have been victimized by him and his actions over the years.
00:40And then when that is done and that process is over, he should never be allowed to be free in the United States of America.
00:45So even if he goes home to his home country, my hope is that he will be incarcerated there for the rest of his life as well.
00:50Will he remain in the United States up until this point of trial?
00:54That's not under my purview, but my hope is that he would be able to face consequences for his crimes.
