00:00Yes, Luc, hi, today, thank you for your time.
00:07I was wondering if you are enjoying yourself during this tour.
00:11It seemed like maybe in the first couple of days you seemed a little bit irritated,
00:16and since the Pyrenees it seems to be gone, but I might be wrong,
00:21so I was wondering if you could comment on that.
00:24No, I was not irritated at all.
00:26I mean, obviously it's Tour de France, you need to be focused and maximum prepared.
00:35And the stages at the start, maybe they're not the one that I like,
00:40or any other GC rider, I don't think anyone likes those stages,
00:43so they're pretty hectic and dangerous, and you need to keep focused.
00:49But I must say that I'm pretty enjoying this tour,
00:53because I think the group that we have here with the team,
00:59the teammates on the bus, on the dinner, breakfast, it's super nice.
01:02And yeah, I really, yeah, if I need to come to the tour every year,
01:09I just come for the boys and for the atmosphere and nothing else.
01:12So I'm enjoying this tour, and yeah, I'm happy to be here.
01:17And yeah, we have a really, really nice group.
01:21So I'm happy to be part of this group.
01:24Thank you.
01:25Thank you, Sam.
01:27And Juri, do you have a question for Tadej?
01:30Yes, I have.
01:32Tadej, thanks for the opportunity to tune in.
01:37Jonas told this morning that he's still confident that he can win this tour
01:40and that they also have a plan, yeah, probably to go in an all-out attack.
01:46I know you're convinced of yourself, but is there somewhere a bit of doubt
01:50on which stage you think, hmm, maybe they can get me there?
01:55I am pretty confident in myself.
01:58I mean, I have to be.
02:00But I'm also pretty, I know, I'm pretty sure that Jonas can be confident as well
02:08because he's in really good shape, like we saw the last, like, Titi
02:13and the day after in Superbanieras, he was really flying.
02:19So, yeah, it's just, yeah, I need to keep focus.
02:25I need to keep eating well, sleeping well and, yeah, keep this mood that we have
02:32in this group, keep up the motivation and be confident for the last week
02:37because it's going to be, I think it's going to be tough.
02:40But, yeah, we are ready for a fight with everybody, especially with Jonas.
02:47Thanks.
02:48Cheers, Juri.
02:50And David, Walsh, do you want to come up with a question?
02:52Yeah, Tadej.
02:53Congratulations on your race so far.
02:57One of the things that strikes me watching you this year is I have a sense
03:02of you getting more mature, more confident in your ability as a leader
03:06because the guy in the yellow jersey is, like, a leader of the tour.
03:10And this year, if you think something is wrong with, like, the tactics of Visma,
03:16you are prepared to talk about it in a very relaxed way.
03:20And that, to me, is, like, a little change, maybe a sign of your growing maturity.
03:26Yeah, I think, yes.
03:28I'm out of white jersey.
03:29I've been in white jersey for so long and now I actually miss this jersey.
03:35And, yeah, but on the other hand, for sure I have more experience of the whole tour,
03:43of how the race is going, what is my capabilities, what is the competition, what they can do.
03:50And, yeah, I think I am maturing and, yeah, just growing up.
03:58And, yeah, it's my sixth tour, always on a high level.
04:04And, yeah, I think, yeah, I have, I can, I can be confident now to say I have experience,
04:10some experience in the tour, but still not, not all of them.
04:14And, yeah, we are learning every week, every day of the tour, I think.
04:19And, yeah, we see how far we can actually go as a growing.
04:29Thanks, David.
04:30Daniel Rivas, El País.
04:33Yes.
04:33Hi, Tatek.
04:37I'm, this is a very simple question.
04:39I want to know if you have already decided whether you're racing La Vuelta after the tour or not.
04:47And in case you don't know still, I want to know why.
04:55I don't know.
04:57Right now, I am thinking only about the tour, about the six stages left.
05:08So I'm not thinking what's coming up.
05:12I know some guys are already planning some vacation after the tour, but I have zero plans
05:19because I don't know what I'm going to do.
05:22And, yeah, I think the decision will come after the tour.
05:27But more probably from my side, we will see if, yeah, I don't stress about the remaining of the season.
05:39So I stay focused now in the tour and then with a relaxed moment after the tour, I can decide what I'm capable of doing.
05:53Thank you.
05:55Thanks, Daniel.
05:56Lenya, do you have a question for Tatek?
06:02Hi, Tatek.
06:03One question we heard about that French team Decathlon will change his name because of a new sponsor, a big one with lots of money.
06:12And now they will have new big goals like winning the Tour de France in five years.
06:18Do you think that it's, is it possible for a French team like that?
06:21And what do you think about that?
06:23And what do you think about that?
06:23Is that good?
06:24Which, I don't know which, I don't hear this news.
06:27But definitely, I think it's good news.
06:31And Decathlon was, yeah, I mean, before it was there and I think the team honestly back then was a bit, yeah, always the same, a bit stuck.
06:44And now with new name already Decathlon, I see a lot of improvement in how the team race actually and they have very good riders.
06:58I think the, I think the, I'm not, I'm not there, so I don't know, but it, it looks really, really good team already.
07:04And yeah, I definitely think with how they are approaching things, they can be top candidates for winning the Tour in, in next years.
07:17Thanks, Lina, and last couple of questions, guys, Miguel, Simeos from Portugal, do you have a question for Tadej?
07:30Yeah, hello, Tadej, I have a question regarding this final week of the race, we're heading to Mont Ventoux and Col de la Lose, both places where Jonas was able to drop you in 2021 and 2023.
07:47How are you approaching these two climbs?
07:50Do you want to win especially those two stages because of those moments or do you think these past moments where you were not as good as Jonas will have some impact on the way you are racing those stages?
08:06No, I mean, obviously this year, the parkour was, I was, I'm almost confident to say that it was designed to, to, to give me a bit of scariness, you know, because we've been to Hotakam, we've been to, we are going to Mont Ventoux and Col de la Lose, just like you said, Jonas dropped me all three times, but I always look at, it was a race,
08:36race situation and it's not about the climb that it suits him better or suits him worse or whatever, it's just the race situation, how the race is going around because I think all the climbs are more or less the same.
08:52I mean, 10, 15 kilometers climbs, if they are 15 kilometers percent, it's, it's, it's the stats and it's not about what name it carries.
09:01So, um, but yeah, I actually like all of, of these climbs, uh, I like Mont Ventoux is super iconic and, uh, Col de la Lose is, I, for me is the, one of the hardest climbs I ever done in my career.
09:16So I'm actually looking forward for these two stages and, and, um, yeah, if, if I can, uh, yeah, I w I will not say that I'm looking for revenge or something, just want to, to have better legs than, um, than those two days in, in the past.
09:35So yeah, that's all I'm, I'm looking forward for it.
