Famous faces coming to Edinburgh in August for festival season

With just under two weeks to go until the world’s largest arts festival takes place, we’ve taken a look at the household names set to appear in Edinburgh next month.

00:06we've taken a look at the household names set to appear in Edinburgh next month.

00:12As well as The Fringe, a host of celebrities will be in town in August for the Edinburgh TV

00:17Festival. They include Sir Lenny Henry, Tina Fey, Charlie Brooker, Graham Norton and Michael Sheen.

00:24A host of top comedians will hit the capital this year, including Paul Merton, Nish Kumar, Jason Byrne and Alan Davis.

00:35They will be joined by actors Miriam Margulies, pictured here, and Michelle Collins,

00:42as well as ventriloquist Nina Conte and musicians Bob Geldof and Peter Doherty.

00:47Also appearing in Edinburgh in August are politician-turned-comedian Mary Black,

00:53the Chief himself from Scott Squad, Jack Doherty, and Glasgow comedian Susie McCabe.
