01:09J.C. Jane has wanted gold for quite some time.
01:12And she went one-on-one with Masha Slamovich.

01:49As we get set for this historic matchup, let's take a look at the tale of the day between Masha Slamovich and J.C. Jane, two extremely accomplished female wrestlers.
02:03And at the same time this evening, what an opportunity being afforded to these two women.
02:08One person will walk out as the first dual champion ever between TNA Wrestling and WWE tonight at Slammiversary.

02:23And there is the NXT Women's Champion, and of course, to no one's surprise, J.C. Jane is not alone.
02:41Balan Henley and Jasmine Nix, the remainder of Fatal Influence, who played a tremendous part in J.C. Jane's rise to power.
03:0254 days ago, in a shocker, J.C. Jane upended Stephanie Bacare to become the NXT Women's Champion.
03:10She, so far, has two successful defenses of the championship.
03:14And last week at WWE Evolution, where it was pointed out by Masha Slamovich this past Tuesday on NXT,
03:21it took all of Fatal Influence, plus the involvement of Blake Monroe, for Jane to defeat Jordan Grace and hold on to this very championship.
03:32We were moments away from getting at a potential Jordan Grace-Masha Slamovich rematch, but not to be.
03:38J.C. Jane stands tall and stands here in New York.
03:42When Masha Slamovich was young, her family immigrated from Russia to right here in New York City.
04:04Makes her home in Brooklyn, New York, was trained by the Hall of Fame wrestler and trainer, Johnny Rods,
04:12who we saw earlier on tonight on the countdown to Slammiversary.
04:16And Masha Slamovich paying homage to Johnny Rods, who is at ringside.
04:22Rods, who played a part in training TNA and WWE Hall of Famers, Team 3D, also known as the Dudleys, and especially Masha Slamovich.

06:21The Knockouts World Championship dates back to 2007, has been held by the likes of TNA Hall of Famers, Gail Kim, and Awesome Kong, plus Tara, ODB, Angelina Love, Madison Rain, Mickie James, Taya Valkyrie, Deanna Purrazzo, and Jordan Grace.
06:39Meanwhile, the NXT Women's Championship, first introduced 12 years ago, held by greats such as Paige, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Asuka, Shayna Baszler, who we got a peek at earlier on tonight.
06:52Her past involvement with Invicta FC, plus Io Sky, Roxanne Perez, Stephanie Vaquer, and Rhea Ripley.

07:21Slamovich, this past Tuesday night on NXT, pinned J.C. Jane in a tag team matchup, and it was back in March.
07:29These two went one-on-one on TNA Impact at the time.

07:34It was a non-title matchup that evening.
