00:27lumapag sa Joint Base Andrews sa Maryland ang aeroplanong nagdala kay Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa Estados Unidos,

00:33matapos ang higit labing tatlong oras na biyahe.

00:36Hudyat ito ng pagsisimula ng tatlong araw na official na pagbisita ng Pangulo sa Washington, D.C.

00:42Ito na ang ikalimang pagbisita ng Pangulo sa Amerika.

00:45Pagkalapag sa US, sinalubong ito ng mga opisyal ng Estados Unidos sa pangungunan ni US Ambassador to the Philippines, Mary Kay Carson.

00:52Kasama rin si Philippine Ambassador to US, Jose Manuel Romualdez.

00:56Ayon kay Pangulong Marcos, layo ng pagbisitang ito, napatatagin pa ang ugnayan ng Pilipinas sa Amerika.

01:02My visit to Washington, D.C., and most importantly, my meeting with President Trump,

01:08is essential to continuing to advance our national interests and strengthening our alliance.

01:15During this visit, we will reaffirm our commitment to fostering our long-standing alliances

01:21as an instrument of peace and the catalyst of development in the Asia-Pacific region and around the world.

01:29My top priority for this visit is to push for greater economic engagement,

01:34particularly through trade and investment between the Philippines and the United States.

01:59Sabi ni Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary Raquel Solano,

02:02gagamitin ni Pangulo Marcos ang pagbisitang ito

02:04upang isgulong ang posisyon ng Pilipinas sa usapin ng 20% reciprocal tariff rates ng US sa bansa.

02:11Samantala, makakapulong rin ang Pangulo si na US Secretary of State Marco Rubio

02:15at US Defense Secretary Pete Hegset.

02:17Dito naman, inaasahang magbubuksan ang mga usapin sa West Philippine Sea

02:21at pagpapatuloy ng suporta ng US sa Pilipinas

02:24para sa pagpapalakas ng kakayahan at kagamitan ng Armed Forces of the Philippines at Philippine Coast Guard.

02:46ang nagpahayad ng pagnanais na makapulong si Pangulo Marcos.

02:49The President of the Semiconductor Association will be meeting with President of the United States.

02:55And then we have other business leaders,

02:59particularly those who have already invested in the Philippines

03:02who are planning to expand their investments in the health care.

03:06We also have some of those in the infrastructure as part of the Luzon Corridor.
