00:05While speaking with friend and current cast member of the hit Bravo series Bozema St. John

00:10at the Create and Cultivate Festival in Los Angeles July 19th,

00:14the pair reveal how Sophia missed an opportunity to be on the show.

00:19With Bozema saying during the panel discussion,

00:22Sophia would make a great housewife, right? It totally makes sense.

00:26I wrote her a text message in April. I was like, hey, I need to ask you a controversial question.

00:33However, the former Netflix executive who joined the Real Housewives franchise last year says Sophia,

00:39quote, never responded until yesterday.

00:43With the actress going on to defend herself saying, first of all, I am a terrible texter.

00:50So I go to text her and I'm like, oh my God, I'm so excited to see you tomorrow. I can't wait.

00:55And then I go, controversial question, April. I'm like, girl, what's the controversial question?

01:02I love a controversial question. She's like, I was trying to get you on the show.

01:07And Bozema still stands by her opinion that Sophia would make a great addition to the cast.

01:14Explaining, we need more women who are self-possessed,

01:18who enjoy their relationships with other women who understand conflict and drama,

01:22not because they want to put on a spectacle, but because that's just what life is

01:27and are unafraid to talk about the hard stuff.
