This Story is about Jesus and Peter. Today, I’ll share a true Bible story about one of Jesus friends who started sinking in the water… but Jesus saved him! Let’s see what happened one dark, windy night. One night, the disciples were sailing across a lake when strong winds and huge waves began to rock their boat. Suddenly, they saw Jesus walking on the water toward them! At first, they were so scared, but Jesus said, “Don’t be afraid. It’s Me!” Peter was excited and asked, “Lord, can I come to You on the water?” Jesus said, “Come!” So Peter stepped out of the boat and actually walked on the water too! But when he looked at the waves and the wind, he got scared and began to sink. He cried out, “Lord, save me!” and right away, Jesus reached out and caught him. This story reminds us that when we keep our eyes on Jesus, we can do amazing things, even in hard times. But when we focus on fear and problems, we start to “sink” in worry and doubt. Just like Peter, whenever we feel like we’re drowning in life’s troubles, we can call out, “Lord, save me!” and Jesus will always help and give us peace. Do you love this story?
