00:00You know, the players is what is building this brand and this league.
00:05There is no league without the players, and past, present, the ones coming up,
00:12they're the ones that have put in the blood, sweat, and tears for
00:15the new money that's coming in.
00:16And so we feel like we are owed a piece of that pie that we helped to create.
00:21So that's basically what that is.
00:23It's the only time when all of your best players are kind of united and
00:28able to be in the same building for an entire weekend and
00:33talk through what it is that we want to do collectively.
00:36And so there's no better time than to be able to do it at the All-Star break when
00:39everyone's kind of able to come together, be in meetings, show up to CBA talks,
00:45and be able to understand what it is that we want to do with the attention that we
00:48have this weekend.
00:49To have the fans backing us, I think it means everything.
00:52Just that they support us so fully.
00:55And a lot of things are a court of public opinion.
01:00And it does matter what people are thinking.
01:02And I think they, of course, as the league, recognize that as well.
01:06So adding that pressure is really great for us.
01:08So I'm really grateful that the fans are backing us so fully.
