00:00Knowing Jesus means you can worship God with unlimited access.
00:10Before Jesus came and offered himself as a once-for-all sacrifice for sin,
00:15God's people were limited in their access to true worship.
00:19Everything changed when Jesus came.
00:22When he died on the cross, he gave his human life and offered a perfect sacrifice of his blood.
00:28And that sacrifice ended the need for sacrifices in the earthly tabernacle.
00:34The barrier is now removed.
00:36Jesus did that for you.
00:38Thankfully, you don't worship God by going through endless rituals.
00:43God invites you simply to offer your voice in prayer or in praise and song
00:47because Jesus is in heaven as your perfect high priest.
00:51Jesus brings you to God because his sacrifice was perfect and complete.
00:56Through his death, Jesus provides us with all the good things we can experience
01:01because we are now at peace with God.
01:04He brings you peace when you are troubled.
01:06He comforts you when you grieve.
01:09He calms your anxiety and provides what you need when you need it most.
01:14Life can be discouraging, even depressing at times.
01:17Jesus brings you his perfect and powerful presence and can lift you from despair
01:22because he lives now in God's presence and prays for you.
01:27None of that was possible under the old system put in place by Moses.
01:31Jesus, personally, entered heaven to complete for you your eternal redemption.
01:37He offers his righteousness on your behalf and provides a way for you to come to God.
01:43Still, there's so much more.
01:44Not only are your sins covered by the blood of Jesus,
01:49but your conscience is also cleansed and made new.
01:53How would you like to be forgiven for your sins
01:55but also set free from that nagging burden of guilt over your sin?
02:00Jesus offers that to you in his death.
02:03Jesus, now seated in heaven with God, makes all of this possible.
02:08And he continues to provide a bridge for you
02:11to experience the benefits of that promise forever.
02:14He is your eternal mediator.
02:17The tabernacle on earth was just a figure, the reality is in heaven.
02:22Now to appear in the presence of God for us, means before the very face of God.
02:28Christ has not entered into a man-made sanctuary.
02:32It is spiritual but real.
02:33He died on earth to save us.
02:36He lives in heaven to keep us saved.
02:38He is there for us.
02:39Put simply, there exist only two places for your sin.
02:44Either your sin is on you or it is on Jesus.
02:47So if your sin remains on you, nothing can remove it but the death of Jesus.
02:52He is going to return to earth, but not to save the world from the penalty of sin.
02:59He accomplished that when he came as a human, lived a perfect life, died a horrible death,
03:05and made a perfect sacrifice with his blood.
03:08When Jesus returns, he will return to present himself and all who have trusted him
03:14as evidence of his eternal salvation finished and offered for all who will believe.
