Two days of heavy downpours in South Korea have killed at least four people and forced more than 1,300 others to evacuate, officials said Thursday.

The dead include a person whose car was buried by heaps of soil and concrete after the retaining wall of an overpass collapsed during heavy rain on Wednesday in Osan, just south of Seoul, the Interior and Safety Ministry said.

A ministry statement said that 46 domestic flights have been cancelled. (Video courtesy of YONHAP via AP)
