UAE: This hotel produces drinking water from air, serves it for free

00:00This water we are not getting from the sea, we are not getting from the land, we are not

00:04getting from municipality, but we are getting from the air.

00:10We have taken a very environmental initiative here at Bahia Ejman Palace that we introduce

00:16air to water plant.

00:17This state-of-the-art plant actually harnessed moisture from the air and he converted into

00:22a water.

00:23And that water is pure drinkable water, you know, and very safe water.

00:26So at Bahia Ejman Palace, we are using average 700 plastic bottles every day.

00:31Can you imagine that those 700 bottles in a month time becomes more than 200,000?

00:36And these 200,000 bottles, plastic bottles were going at landfill.

00:40At the same time, we are using those glass bottles, which we are reusing it by purifying

00:45it in 85 degree.

00:47And then these bottles are going into the rooms, these bottles are going in banqueting hall,

00:52in restaurants.

00:53Even I am drinking and my all team is drinking the same water.

00:56The beauty of this project is that we are not getting any water from outside.

01:00Actually, we are using the water in-house in our facility, free of charge from the air.
