A potential tropical storm is forming in the Gulf of Mexico — and it’s already causing chaos. The system, currently labeled Invest 93L, has a 40% chance of developing into Tropical Storm Dexter within 48 hours. It’s expected to bring heavy rainfall, flash flooding, and storm surges to parts of Florida and Louisiana, especially New Orleans.
