00:07On Wednesday, the Duke of Sussex donned a flak jacket and walked through an active minefield in southern Angola,

00:15a bold gesture aimed at raising awareness for the landmine clearance.

00:20Harry's visit with the Harlow Trust mirrors Diana's iconic 1997 campaign,

00:25just a month before a tragic death, when images of our work in a similar path captured global attention

00:32and helped push forward a landmark landmine ban treaty.

00:37Angola is still grappling with a deadly legacy of a 27-year civil war that ended in 2002.

00:44The Harlow Trust says more than 80,000 people have been killed or injured by landmines since 2008,

00:51though over 120,000 explosives have been cleared,

00:571,000 minefields remain with Angola aiming to be landmine-free by 2025.
