Nagpur based Scientist Dr. Lal Singh turns 1,500 hectares of toxic fly ash land into a bamboo forest

Nagpur (Maharashtra), July 17, 2025: Dr. Lal Singh transformed 1,500 hectares of toxic fly ash land at Koradi power station into a lush bamboo forest by planting over 5 lakh trees. His eco-rejuvenation model reduced 90% dust pollution and provided jobs to over 300 women, creating a model of environmental and social transformation.
