00:00All your generation, you're scared of saying the wrong thing.
00:12When did offending someone become the preeminent cardinal sin?
00:16Maybe it's around the same time your generation started making sweeping generalizations about ours.
00:20Whatever shame you have around self-expression, it is bullshit.
00:25Bullshit.
00:30You tend to choose people because they worship you, not because of any actual merit on their part.
00:39Maggie is brilliant.
00:41Is she?
00:42Does she just think you're brilliant?
00:46Hank's continued obsession.
00:48We're friends.
00:50Always will be.
00:53Here we go.
00:57Talked to Maggie today.
00:58No, she wasn't in class.
01:00No call, no show.
01:06I need to speak with you, okay?
01:09Hank walked me home.
01:11He asked for a nightcap, which, you know, it's fine.
01:14He's Hank.
01:15Everybody loves Hank.
01:17What are you saying happened?
01:19It crossed the line.
01:20But what actually happened?
01:26It's the right thing to do, isn't it?
01:27To tell someone and, you know, give in your history.
01:31What does that mean, my history?
01:33So are you going to tell me why this is not true?
01:39Oh, Maggie cheated.
01:40I told her I suspected she plagiarized, and then, the next day, utter fabrication.
01:45These kids have had everything handed to them in their lives.
01:48Insist that the world stop at the first blip of victimization.
01:52It's just, like, amazing to me.
01:53A young black woman can get assaulted, and all these white people figure out a way to make
01:57it about themselves.
01:59You know the truth, and you won't say it, because it'll make you look bad.
02:03You should be ready.
02:08Ready for what?
02:10Well, backlash, potentially.
02:12I know you have feelings for me.
02:15Am I not owed this?
02:16This happened to me.
02:17I am a desperate man.
02:18I'm absolutely desperate.
02:19We're too married to lie to each other so blatantly.
02:22I believe her.
02:23But, whatever happened to stuffing everything down like the rest of us?
02:27Did you know anything about this?
02:28I worked too hard, done too much to get here, to let it all just be taken away.
02:32Nothing I would have done could have changed what's happening.
02:35You don't know that.
02:36You don't know that.
02:37All you want is accountability.
02:42I don't feel comfortable having this conversation with you anymore.
02:45Not everything is supposed to make you comfortable.
