Set during a bitter 1964 Massachusetts winter, young secretary Eileen becomes enchanted by the glamorous new counselor at the prison where she works. Their budding friendship takes a twisted turn when Rebecca reveals a dark secret — throwing Eileen onto a sinister path.

Directed by William Oldroyd, the film is based on the 2015 novel of the same name by Ottessa Moshfegh and adapted into a screenplay by Moshfegh with her husband Luke Goebel. Eileen stars Thomasin McKenzie, Anne Hathaway, Shea Whigham, Siobhan Fallon Hogan, and Owen Teague.

The film hits cinemas in New York and Los Angeles on 1st December and then opens everywhere on 9th December.
