Oregon Ducks Quarterback Austin Novosad Addresses How He Stays True To His Style Of Play
Transcript
00:00yeah coach Stein earlier this spring talked about how he doesn't want you guys
00:10like battling in practice one guy throws a good deep ball now you automatically think you have
00:16to match that you know is that something that's easier said than done to not kind of get caught
00:20up in in the moment during these practices um I feel like for our room we do a pretty good job
00:26just going out there he harps on it a bunch but executing the offense like everyone has different
00:31plays you know run your play to the best of your ability and um you know that's what he's really
00:36looking for other than you know if this guy throws a big play then I need to throw one so I think we
00:41do a good job of that. Will's talked a lot about how you've had the ability to learn under Bo for
00:49a year and then again with with Dylan and how much did that help you and then I guess along similar
00:55lines of that of how much do you have to remind yourself to play your style of football and not
00:59try to be what Bo did or what Dylan did? Yeah I think that's a that's well said I think because
01:06both just seeing Dylan and Bo both were completely different quarterbacks but I think one thing that
01:11was super similar was just their their preparation and that's one thing that I really learned from
01:15both of them um throughout the two years like they both prepared the same and you felt super confident
01:22going in the game with them like they knew exactly what we were going to get and they executed at a
01:26really high level and you could see that both years.
