00:00in the future it's all about making us sustainable it's all about making us be fit for the future
00:06and is that important given the challenges that the brewery industry and the pub industry are
00:11actually facing yeah i mean we've we've we've been it's been difficult since covid with a lot of
00:18breweries a lot of my colleagues in other breweries aren't there anymore breweries bigger than this
00:24but we've managed to come through the other side i think it's because we produce the product that
00:28people want so i can only see it getting getting better well in the winter it will still generate
00:37electricity it will probably only generate 25 percent of the 30 percent um so there is still
00:43a saving there but that's that that is looked at when you look at the numbers across the year the
00:49savings takes that into account the next part of the process would be i would suggest they look at
00:55batteries so some way of capturing all of that energy so for instance after four o'clock when we
01:01shut there's still an awful lot of sun energy at the moment that gets sold back to the grid but it would
01:07be nice to capture that as well in terms of the overall success in terms of sustainability piece
01:16offsetting energy off the grid and creating your own on-site renewable energy being solar energy has a
01:23tremendous impact on the net zero targets for ochre metals yes so from a carbon reduction perspective
01:32they're reducing the carbon footprint overall but also massive cost savings paying a much lower energy
01:38rate that you can get from the grid and that's the sort of bigger the bigger piece yeah and is this
01:44something that other companies in people could take up absolutely yeah absolutely i mean these days
01:52generally i think most big businesses like oak could see um uh see that see the supply chains that are
01:58going down that net zero route which is you know the whole country's sort of aim is so um all businesses
02:06should be looking to try and reduce carbon emissions where they can uh and the beauty of work of
02:10electron green is is that this project was fully funded via a power purchase arrangement so electron green
02:18put up the money and fully financed the project so there's no capex from the business itself it's paid
02:25back by a monthly uh ppa arrangement
