Video: Experimenteel vliegtuig met VK-800-motor voltooit eerste testvlucht in Rusland

Het Yak-40-vliegend laboratorium, beheerd door het Siberisch Luchtvaartonderzoeksinstituut (SibNIA) en vernoemd naar S.A. Chaplygin, heeft met succes zijn eerste testvlucht uitgevoerd met de VK-800-turbopropmotor, ontwikkeld door JSC "UZGA" (Oeral Civiele Luchtvaartfabriek).  Tijdens de testvlucht werden de prestaties van de motor in verschillende bedrijfsmodi geëvalueerd. Het vliegtuig bleef ongeveer 15 minuten in de lucht, bereikte een hoogte van 700 meter en een snelheid tot 340 km/u.
