00:03Yay!

00:07So this is fantastic.

00:09A housing scheme, very happy residents.

00:12A scheme that's been a long time coming,

00:15but has been delivered in the last two years by Northampton Street Council.

00:19And we're all very, very proud.

00:21Is this going to be the first of many under your leadership?

00:24I do hope so.

00:25So there are other schemes that we're looking at.

00:26And yeah, we just need to do this again.

00:30And again, and again, as we tackle our housing list

00:34and get the numbers down as far as we possibly can.

00:37There's different tenures and there's lots of different possibilities.

00:40There's lots of private schemes coming forward.

00:43But as an authority, we also want to deliver social housing

00:47on schemes like this, in small schemes that deliver quickly and efficiently

00:53and give people a home, not a house.

00:57That's really important.
