00:00Hey, this is Joe Bonamassa, and we're talking about my album, Blues Deluxe Volume 2.
00:14One of the songs that we cut was Fleetwood Mac's Lazy Poker Blues. And I'm a big fan of all things
00:22Peter Green, especially that kind of nonchalant, just like, we're just going to wing it and see
00:28how it goes, you know. And it kind of went like this.
00:44It's kind of a standard blues riff, but of course you have to put in the...
00:58You know, there's so many different variations you can do to it, but...
01:26One of the things that the British guys always used to do, to go from the one to the four,
01:31they would kind of stay up here on the 12th fret.
01:37And they would hit that note, like the major third, or they would just go to the tonic of
01:41the four, which in this case is A, then they would start the next set of riffs, you know.
02:00You know, if you took one of these Sunburst Les Pauls, plugged it into an early Marshall,
02:03and set it for stun, you'll be well happy with the results. In this case, it's a Super, and it sounds great.
