00:00Hi there, good morning.
00:01Whilst yesterday's weather was dominated by low pressure, we're going to see further
00:04lows turn up across the UK during the rest of the week and the weekend.
00:08Wednesday's weather sees a gap between systems.
00:12One low clearing, still some clouds, still some showers in the east and north, but turning
00:16drier and brighter.
00:17Meanwhile, the next low pushes an area of cloud and rain into the far south-west outbreaks
00:22of rain, most likely for Cornel, parts of West Devon edging into parts of South Wales
00:27towards the end of the afternoon.
00:29In between, sunny spells and feeling warmer with lighter winds, temperatures up to 25
00:34to 27 Celsius in places.
00:36Now, one or two showers are still likely to pop up across parts of central and southern
00:41Scotland, the far north of England, but these will fade away into the evening on Wednesday.
00:45And then clear spells for Scotland, for eastern England as well.
00:49Further west and south-west, we've got thicker cloud returning.
00:52Outbreaks of mostly light rain for the south-west as well as parts of South Wales, but more persistent
00:57rain for north Wales into Northern Ireland and some heavy bursts here with the showery
01:02rain that turns up.
01:03In the east, clear spells.
01:05A fresh start to Thursday, but it's going to be turning warmer once again in the east
01:09and the south-east in particular.
01:11More humid air arrives ahead of this cold front.
01:14The cold front drapes itself across northern and western parts of the country.
01:17So that's where it's going to be cloudiest on Thursday.
01:21Showers moving through Northern Ireland into north-west England.
01:23Parts of western Scotland heavy at times.
01:26Likewise, north Wales and perhaps mid-Wales as well seeing one or two showers.
01:31Midlands seeing a few showers.
01:32But towards the south and the east, it's mostly dry where we do get some sunshine coming through.
01:38Temperatures up to the mid or even high 20s.
01:40So feeling hot in places and more humid as well.
01:43Extensive cloud cover for many, but that humid feel is back.
01:48The far north-east of Scotland is going to feel fresher.
01:51But here, plenty of sunshine before these showers that are moving in push through later.
01:57So a mixed set-up for later in the week.
02:00Outbreaks of showery rain for many northern and western parts of the country.
02:04Hotter again in the south and south-east.
02:06That's it, all changed then for the weekend.
02:09Low pressure more widely brings heavy showers and thunderstorms.
02:14Bye-bye.
