00:00We very clearly heard a strong reaffirmation

00:04of the need to bring the region together

00:07to make more trade integration

00:09to build the connectivity

00:12the north, south, south, south

00:14and central corridor connectivity

00:17and that's where we have gotten our marching orders

00:20for the at least foreseeable future.

00:25As the world faces interconnected crises

00:28the 17th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization

00:31brought together leaders and ministers

00:33to strengthen economic cooperation

00:35improve regional transport

00:36and build a resilient future.

00:39Held in Hankandi, Azerbaijan

00:40the summit was accompanied by youth, women's and business forums

00:44each contributing new ideas to the summit's shared agenda.

00:48The importance of event like this is

00:50it brings almost 10 countries together in different forums

00:54for instance, three days ago there was a youth forum

00:57which brought several students from different countries

01:01and they shared their ideas about the future of our planet.

01:04Another forum was business forum

01:06which attempted to bring lots of commodity organisations

01:10and business owners.

01:13Pakistan also used the summit

01:14to call for deep regional trade and sideline diplomacy.

01:18Pakistan feels very proud as a founding member of ECO

01:20to be here today to play its role for regional development

01:24and we've had sideline meetings as well.

01:26So this summit also provides an opportunity

01:29for world leaders to get together on the sidelines

01:31and discuss other areas of mutual cooperation.

01:37will send a very strong message

01:39with regard to enhancing trade, investment

01:41and more cooperation within the region.

02:46that we witness growing among member states
