London (UK), July 15, 2025 (ANI): England beat India by 22 runs on the fifth day of the 3rd Test match; take a lead of 2-1 in the series. Team India skipper Shubman Gill said, “The most important moment for us was Rishabh Pant's run out. At a point, we felt we could take the lead of 50-100 runs as we knew it would not be easy to bat on Day 5. At the end of Day 3, both teams were at the same level and whichever team bats well will create pressure on the chasing team.”

00:00The most important moment for us was Rishabh's run-out.
00:03It was one point that we could get a lead of 50 or 100 run-ups.
00:08We knew that it wouldn't be easy to batting on day 5.
00:12So, as much of the lead comes in the first inning, it would be better for us.
00:17So, I think that was a very important moment.
00:20If you take a lead there, then the other team is back-footed.
00:26At the end of the third day, both teams were on the level.
00:30Then, obviously, it happens that the team will be better to batting here.
00:34There will be a bit of pressure on the chase on the team.
00:37I think that we have played one hour and one hour today.
00:41Our top order didn't perform as much as we wanted.
00:46It happens sometimes.
00:47The pressure was on us.
00:49We could handle more pressure than we had.
