00:00Hello, my name is Sarah Pettifer and I'm headteacher at Barncroft Primary School.
00:04So tell me a little bit about how you feel about the recent Ofsted report.
00:09Really, really proud. It's my first Ofsted as a headteacher, so I've been here nearly five years now.
00:15Really, really proud on behalf of the whole of the team.
00:18We've got an amazing team who work here, but mostly the children. Really proud of them.
00:22Tell me what makes Barncroft so special.
00:25Our children. So I always say to parents, you come and look around our school, make sure you come during the day because the children are what makes our school special.
00:33We're a very inclusive school. We nurture our children. We treat them as individuals, as little people because that's what they are.
00:41And yeah, it's just a very special place to work.
00:45Tell me what the plans are for the future.
00:47Just to keep growing on our positive Ofsted, keep getting better and better.
00:52Obviously, the ultimate aim of a school is to get good results, but that is not the be all and end all, you know,
00:57we're trying to grow the future generation, and I'm really proud of the work that we're doing to contribute towards that, really.
