Hubballi ( Karnataka ), July 13, 2025 (ANI) : Union Minister Pralhad Joshi launched a scathing attack on Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi over questioning unemployment in India . Defending the Central Govt. he said that the employment rate has increased and that the government is filling the vacancies post COVID-19 via job fairs . “Rahul Gandhi does not always pay attention to details. He reacts to some feedback given by his advisor. After Covid, the employment rate has increased. The central government is filling vacancies.Every month, a job fair is held, and we employ lakhs of people. In the last 2.5 years, more than 7.5 lakh people have been recruited in various government departments and institutions. People discussing unemployment should note that the Congress party, which is ruling Karnataka, has not filled more than 2 lakh vacancies here. This is because they are not able to pay them. They are unable to pay already serving employees... Their financial situation is precarious”, he said in a statement.

00:00Mr. Aul Gandhi always doesn't go through the details. He doesn't go in details. He will just
00:08give reaction on some feedback, what he's advised that he doesn't go personally into detail.
00:17Actually, last post COVID, especially if I can say, employment rate, rate of the employment
00:25has increased like anything. EPFO number itself does show that. And as far as the central
00:33government, filling of the vacancies is there from 22 to till date under the leadership of
00:39Prime Minister. There is every month, every month, there is a Rojigar Mela. And every month,
00:47we are giving 50,000, 60,000, 1 lakh people who are absorbing in the government. So far,
00:52in the last two and a half years, seven and a half, more than seven and a half lakh people
01:00have been recruited in the various departments and the institutions. This is number. Whereas,
01:08people who are speaking about unemployment, the Congress party which is ruling here,
01:15they have not filled more than two lakh vacancies in Karnataka. Why they have not filled? Because
01:22they are not able to pay them. They are not able to pay who are already serving employees. Serving
01:30employees' salary is delayed by 10 days, 15 days, 20 days. They are not able to pay many of the government
01:36employees. Now they are weeping. Because their salary is not credited in time. So their financial
01:43condition is precarious. And that's why they are not filling up. And before talking about something
01:49else, I'll ask Mr. Rahul Gandhi to look what is happening in Karnataka, what is happening in Telangana,
01:56what is happening in Himachal. They have three states. In all these three states, they are in a very, very bad shape.
