Horizon An American Saga - Interview with Sienna Miller and Sam Worthington
Transcript
00:00So Horizon seems to be setting you both up as the beating romantic heart of this sweeping saga.
00:06Now, how has that experience played out differently for you through making that sort of story in a Western?
00:13Well, it's nice to be offered that when you get a bit older, to be honest.
00:18Normally, the romantic kind of thing is always given to younger actors.
00:22So for me, I thought this would be interesting.
00:25And, you know, they're both characters that are searching for something.
00:28And I think they're kind of star-crossed in that maybe the thing that they're searching for is right in front of them, but they don't actually see it.
00:34I think, well, no, I just think in a story that is violent and difficult, to have some romance is essential and touching.
00:44Oh, totally agreed.
00:45And just ending chapter one with that beautiful moment between the two of you by the clothesline, that was just, I don't know if I could think of a better ending because it's so unexpected, but at the same time, just so touching.
00:56And then you go into those scenes of, like, what chapter two holds, and then little glimpses of the two in you.
01:02And I'm just sitting there thinking, well, okay, what's happening?
01:05What's going?
01:06Yeah, well, you know, it takes quite a few twists and turns.
01:09I don't think it's going to be what you expect.
01:11But, you know, it's, yeah, it's, I can't really talk about it.
01:16But it evolves in an interesting way.
01:19I don't think it's going to be what you expect.
