00:00This is Gavin Beck, Worship of District Master Lower Ivey, District L.O.L. number one.
00:06You're the Chief Butt Cat here, Gavin, today at the 12th in Dromara.
00:10Everything has gone according to plan today and the weather is really good.
00:13How many people have you got here today?
00:14I would say on parade there's maybe four to four and a half thousand.
00:17And we'll have the guts of ten to twelve thousand spectators, which is fantastic to see.
00:21I see the route is completely lined the whole way from the assembly field out here to the demonstration field.
00:28How long is that?
00:29Well, it's just over a mile and it's thronged on both sides.
00:32There's maybe four or five deep in places. Very good to see.
00:35Yeah, so the weather and the music has drawn the people out, certainly.
00:40Oh yes, very colourful along the road and the music's good and vibrant.
00:43And tell me, what sets the 12th in Dromara apart from any other 12th, Gavin?
00:47It's just the picture as the village itself. If you take a look around you, you can see the mountains.
00:52It's just real good to be here in the world. Would you want to be a delegate anyway, the 12th of July?
00:57Absolutely. And Gavin, you did have a wee bit of nastiness then this morning or last night with the arch.
01:02There was a bit of interference.
01:04Yes, there was indeed. At about 5-6 o'clock this morning, we were aware that the arch had been pulled down and there was four flags removed and we had a banner on it saying welcome and safe home when it was removed and the flags were stolen.
01:17But very quickly, we had men on the ground and we got the flags replaced, got the banner back up and it's up where it should be and it'll be there to stay for the wee while.
01:24And we'll be up again. Thank you.
01:26You can't keep the order down, can you?
01:28No, definitely not. Not in a delegate anyway. We're out in strength and we'll remain to stay in strength.
