Malaysian Model Alleges By Hindu Priest

00:00This Malaysian model accused a Hindu priest of sexually assaulting her under the pretext

00:04of giving her blessings at a temple.

00:06Lishalini Kannanan detailed the ordeal in a social media post.

00:09She alleged the incident took place on 21 June 2025 at the Mariaman Temple in Sepang.

00:14Lishalini said the priest would usually guide her through different rituals.

00:17But once in his office, he allegedly splashed holy water on her face repeatedly, making

00:21it hard for her to open her eyes.

00:23Then she claimed he asked her to lift her outfit.

00:25When she refused, she alleged he molested her by putting his hands inside her blouse.

00:29The incident has sparked outrage not just because it happened in a place of worship but because

00:33Lishalini alleged she faced threats from an investigating officer too.

00:37She claimed he warned her against publicising the assault, saying if you do it, it'll be

00:41your fault.

00:42Lishalini said those words pushed her to speak out.

00:45Local police have launched a manhunt for the accused priest, believed to be an Indian national

00:49temporarily officiating at the temple.

00:51Authorities said his modus operandi involved using holy water as a cover to violate an assault.

00:56Before the investigation into the matter is underway.
