Transcript
00:00Hi, I'm Derek Clarke, the new chairman of the Wolverhampton MS Centre and we're holding
00:07an event tomorrow which is being organised by the TechnolWI.
00:14Of which I'm president, I'm Heather Macy.
00:18And we are trying to raise money for the MS Centre through this event as we do with
00:24many others as we're a voluntary organisation that can only rely on charity donations and
00:33the general public to help us to sort the centre.
00:38Because we're WI, we have homemade jam of course, homemade scones, clotted cream, homemade cakes
00:44and we are trying to support the MS Centre because it is one of our charities for this
00:49year. We are a charitable institution ourselves and one of our remits is to support local
00:56charity. Well you can't get any more local than this. We are Tettenhall and this is in Tettenhall.
01:03It's a fantastic charity and we're very proud to be able to support them both financially
01:09in a small way obviously and some of our members do come and help at the centre. But more help
01:14is needed isn't it Derek?
01:15That's right yes we're looking to try and get some more volunteers to help us to celebrate
01:21our 40th year which is coming up next year. So anybody that can help us is very very welcome.
01:30So that's what we're hoping may happen tomorrow as well.
