00:00But everything is, in terms of cost, is sorted by us. You get all of the equipment for us.
00:05In terms of veterinary trips for the pets, all of that cost is sorted. We have accounts with vets.
00:11We just need people's time to help us. We wouldn't be able to do what we do without the support of our fosterers and our volunteers.
00:18They are so valuable to the team and fostering.
00:21It's a wonderful opportunity if people aren't able to commit to having a pet long term, if they're able to help out short term.
00:30And it's a wonderful, really rewarding thing to be involved in a journey of finding a pet a new home.
00:35It's definitely difficult and it does have its emotional aspects of obviously seeing them off into their new home.
00:40But it is so rewarding to know that you've been part of that journey.
00:44I've done it myself a few times and it's so nice to see.
00:47And we can send updates so you can see how your foster pets have done.
00:51Yeah, and what's the average amount of time that someone would foster for? Is there an average?
00:55It really depends on the pets. We have a few pets that come in and they find their home so soon.
01:02So you might only have them a week, you might have them a month or so.
01:06It depends on the individual if they need a little bit of help before they're able to go into their new home or if we need to sort anything veterinary related.
01:13So it could be a couple of weeks or it could be a couple of months depending on the pet.
