00:18wala nang dapat pag-usapan sa issue ng jurisdiction

00:21sa impeachment de Vice President Sara Duterte.

00:24Handa ang senadora i-debate ito kung may mongwestyo na senador.

00:28Settled na po yun sa ilang desisyon ng Korte Suprema

00:32bukod pa sa utos ng konstitusyon.

00:35Tingin ko, ang tama ay once acquired na ang jurisdiction

00:40ng impeachment complaint ng Korte, which we did,

00:45eh nagpapatuloy yung jurisdiction na yan.

00:48Para sa akin, non-issue yung jurisdiction.

00:50Pero kung may mag-re-raise pa rin,

00:53handa kaming i-debate yan.

01:01kung gusto nitong ituloy yung impeachment trial.

01:03Wala akong alam ng Korte na once na nakakuha ng jurisdiction

01:11ay magpapatanong sa kung sino pa kung may jurisdiction siya o wala.

01:16Usually ang Korte, I would suppose,

01:18ang Senado bilang impeachment trial court,

01:21seloso sa jurisdiction.

01:23Nasa kamay na nga namin eh,

01:25bakit pa namin isusuko yun, di ba?

01:28Nanindigan ng senadora na utos ng konstitusyon

01:31ang gampanin sa impeachment.

01:33Dapat rin anya sa Senate impeachment court

01:36i-erase ang anumang usapin tungkol sa impeachment

01:39at hindi sa Senado bilang legislative body.

01:42Matatanda ang may pinalutang na plano si de la Rosa

01:45kaugnay sa usapin.

01:46Ito tanong ko rin na,

01:47tinanong natin yung House of Representatives.

01:51Why not ask ourselves also?

01:54Tanongin rin natin,

01:55yung Senate of the 28th Congress,

01:58kung are they willing to be bound

02:01by the actions of the previous Senate of the 19th Congress.

02:07So I am asking the Senate,

02:09not the impeachment court.
