00:03The pygmy hippo that has captured the hearts of everyone due to her adorable antics is

00:08celebrating her first birthday.

00:10In true Mudang style, the hippo is blissfully unaware to the celebrations going on around

00:15her at her home, Thailand's Khao Kyo Open Zoo.

00:19For the next four days, the zoo will celebrate the viral hippo, whose name roughly translates

00:24to bouncy pig with a 44-pound hippo-sized cake made of her favorite fruits and veggies, photo

00:31ops with larger-than-life Mudang mascots, a charity auction and a parade.

00:36The zoo says all proceeds from the auction will go towards a wildlife conservation fund.

00:41The baby hippo has seen her popularity take off this year, with thousands of visitors

00:46lining up to get a glimpse of the glistening creature, with the zoo selling out Mudang

00:51merchandise, including a themed button-up shirt and pants.

00:55The hippo has also left her mark on pop culture, with even SNL's Bowen Yang paying tribute dressed

01:01as the animal, while making callbacks to Chapel Rhone's stance on boundaries with the public.
