00:00We don't have a feeling of like,
00:02Oh, how is the next show?
00:03It's just like, just a romantic.
00:06How can we best help Jem?
00:07How can she best recover?
00:13Thank you for asking, I'm okay.
00:16I'm on the road to recovery.
00:18Like, that's because I didn't feel good from this position.
00:22But at least now, I can.
00:24I mean, the range of motion is there.
00:26But I'm still working on the strength of it.
00:30So, I can't tell pa now if I'm able to.
00:33But that's the goal.
00:34The goal is to be able to play as soon as I can
00:38in the best, in the healthiest way possible.
00:42Because, of course, we know that our body is big enough
00:45and our progress will be regressed.
00:49So, yeah, the goal is to do it right.
00:51So, to be able to keep playing.
00:54So, that's the goal.
00:55So, I'm okay.
00:57Progress is good.
00:58I've already made my plate.
00:59Indeed.
01:00I've graduated from mugs to plates.
01:03So, that's good.
01:05Yeah.
01:06Actually, when Jem was first showing signs of wrist pain,
01:10she really pushed her.
01:13Like, she really didn't want to stop.
01:15Until we could really see in her face that
01:18she was able to see that it might ruin her wrist for the long term.
01:22Honestly, I feel like if it were up to Jem,
01:24she'd still be playing and her wrist would be gone by next week.
01:27We really pushed for her to figure out what was wrong,
01:32to consult with a lot of doctors, with physical therapists,
01:35to figure out what condition it is and if it is something that is workable within a short timeline
01:42or something that needs a bit more intensive healing.
01:44We were really honestly a lot more worried about her health,
01:49her longevity with playing because we know how much Jem embodies her love for drumming
01:55and how much it means to her.
01:57Super, we don't have a feeling of like,
02:00Oh, how is the next show?
02:02It's just like, how can we best help Jem?
02:05How can she best recover?
02:07So, it's apparently a condition that would take a little bit more intensive healing and rest.
02:16So, what can we do within the meantime.
02:21So, thank you to EO for helping us,
02:23for Sir Alden for helping us.
02:27Actually, there's a special shoutout to Andrew,
02:31because he really used the drums.
02:33In Cebu, he really played the kajon like it was...
02:39Drum scent.
02:40Wild.
02:41Like, he really used the comment.
02:44I was worried too.
02:45I said, don't push too much because maybe you don't use the drums,
02:48because the drums really won't be.
02:50But like, special shoutout to Andrew,
02:54because he was the one who used the most.
02:56But also, aside from the band also,
02:58I really felt the support of the team.
03:01Like, everyone then sa team was like,
03:03don't worry about playing,
03:04don't worry about your health.
03:06Put yourself first.
03:09Like, this is your time to heal.
03:11So, I really appreciated every single one of our team.
03:14Kasi lahat.
03:14Kasi lahat natin mo.
03:16Yun, like, bibigay ka nal baga umiak.
03:18It just became very real to us,
03:20how precious our bodies are,
03:22how important each one of us are.
03:25Kasi even if we could get different drummers to play for us,
03:29they don't ever play quite the same way as jam plays.
03:33And we'll never sound the same without jam.
03:36And it just gave us a bit of an eye-opener
03:39in that hindi kami invincible,
03:42and we'll be able to take care of our joints,
03:44wrists,
03:45make vitamins,
03:46make rest,
03:47warm up,
03:48warm up before playing.
03:50I think we've been doing this for so long
03:52that we didn't really realize how much of a physical job it is.
03:55Kasi yung bata namin,
03:57dati,
03:58naiyon,
03:59nagkaka-digit po,
04:00masakit yung likod.
04:02So,
04:03speak for myself daw,
04:05masakit po yung likod ko,
04:06masakit po yung tuhaad ko.
04:07We were able to form,
04:10like, when you know how important something is,
04:13it kind of makes you closer to the people you experience it with.
04:16So, napaka-important sa amin itong family namin,
04:19itong band namin,
04:21that we really care for each other's health,
04:25and we make all the steps possible talaga na,
04:28hindi mawawala yung isa't isa't.
04:31Sorry,
04:32I'm giving a shoutout yung buong production crew nung tour.
04:35Kasi aside from the performance of the band,
04:38so many things also have to change around.
04:41Yung lighting, yung visuals, yung mixing,
04:44lala na yung mixing, kasi we had to,
04:47um, essentially, parang in layman's terms,
04:51deconstruct yung drum set.
04:53Tapos yung isa tutugtog ng ganito,
04:54yung isa tutugtog ng ganito, oo.
04:56At saka, gusto ko rin,
04:58I mean, buong buong time,
05:00sinashatout na si Jang,
05:01pero yung sa sobrang lipit ni Jang,
05:03ginamit niya yung kabilang kamay niya,
05:06para tumugtog pa rin sa Cebu.
05:09So talagang, kumbaga,
05:10yung fighting spirit ng kabanda namin,
05:12sobrang lipit.
05:13Parang wala siya dyan, eh.
05:15Um, um, um,
05:16um, um, um, sorry.
05:17Nagbit,
05:18parang ako nabibiliin lagi ng trade-built kayo dyan.
05:20Um,
05:22kaya na din yung buong team,
05:23yung lighting, yung sounds,
05:24talagang,
05:25everyone worked together to,
05:27to still make the show happen.
05:29And I'm very proud to say
05:31that sa buong team.
05:32Saka na-amaze din ako,
05:34kasi ang bilis.
05:36Like, when we decided to just go acoustic,
05:40and, or, like, hindi siya acoustic,
05:42but like, deconstructed drum set,
05:44parang ang bilis din ng galaw na everyone,
05:46like, everyone knew what to do,
05:48where to adjust, and how to move forward.
05:51So, as, as an observer of that day,
05:53kasi I was just in my head.
05:55Siyempre, I was just depressed.
05:57Pero, like, I was able to observe
05:59how everything happened.
06:00So, it was amazing to see
06:02the team that we've built,
06:03and nakaka-proud.
06:05Parang ako, stage mom din.
06:07In the time na yon,
06:08pag pinapanag-sinay, ako.
06:21No.
