00:00Right, so we're being told as well that the number of issues that stood in the way of a deal was four.
00:07It's now one. So obviously that's progress.
00:10What do you think that one issue might be that's standing in the way of a deal?
00:14According to the reports, it's the issue of the Morab corridor,
00:18whether Israel is going to be ready to withdraw from the areas north of Rafah,
00:24adjacent to the city of Hanunis.
00:28For Israel, it's a problem because being there guarantees that Hamas is not going to be able to use the ceasefire in order to rearm.
00:37And it's critical in order to separate between the population and Hamas,
00:45because those people, those Palestinians who reside now between the Morab corridor and the city of Rafah
00:53are provided for by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation that delivers aid not through Hamas.
01:04Those who live in Gaza Strip, sorry, in the Gaza City, north of the Morab corridor,
01:10they get their supplies from organizations that are subordinated to Hamas
01:15and enable Hamas to take some of these humanitarian aid in order to finance their continued activities.
