Madelyn Cline gets her monthly facial, this time trying the DMK enzyme treatment. Here, watch the process as Madelyn's esthetician Sarah Ford thoroughly cleanses and exfoliates the skin, applies the mask to her face, neck and décolletage, and then removes after the "plasmatic effect" is complete.

00:00Oh my god, I have such tea to tell you.
00:02Oh my god, I can't wait.
00:04We probably shouldn't do it.
00:06Which not now.
00:07I know, yeah, I was about to say we probably shouldn't do it on camera.
00:10That's not for now.
00:11Hello.
00:12Hi, Allure.
00:14Come with me to get a DMK facial.
00:21Hi.
00:22Hi.
00:23This is my friend, Sarah Ford.
00:25She's also my esthetician.
00:26We've known each other for several years.
00:28Two years now.
00:29And she loves to come once a month.
00:31Yeah.
00:32And get treatments.
00:33Fix my face.
00:34Yay.
00:35Okay, great.
00:36We're going to get started.
00:37You're going to change into this robe.
00:38Okay, great.
00:39Bye.
00:40You guys have to get out.
00:41It's not that kind of production.
00:42Normally in charge.
00:43Bye.
00:49I just want to get a good facial before the shoot's coming up for texture,
00:55hydration, lifting, lymphatic drainage, all of everything.
01:01You just want to feel rejuvenated.
01:02I need it.
01:03Yeah.
01:04We know.
01:05I need you.
01:06What is a DMK?
01:07Have we done it before?
01:08No, you've actually never done the DMK.
01:10So the DMK is a lifting enzyme that kind of just sends nutrients to the epidermis and
01:15creates like plasma, red blood cell circulation.
01:18Perfect.
01:19So your skin's just healthy, lifted, sculpted.
01:22Which is great.
01:23Clients are obsessed with it.
01:24It's like what they do all before events and photo shoots.
01:27I think you'll like it a lot.
01:28Chef special.
01:29Yeah.
01:30I'm going to let you lay down and get comfortable and then I'll be in behind you.
01:32Okay, great.
01:33Okay.
01:34Do I do this?
01:35I'll do that.
01:36Okay.
01:37Oh my God.
01:38Is this a warmed bed?
01:39It is.
01:40I warmed it for you.
01:41Oh, you did?
01:42I did.
01:43Oh my God.
01:44Amazing.
01:45Amazing, no?
01:46Yes.
01:53So every single time we do facials and you wash my face for a very long time, is that
01:59how long I should be washing my face?
02:01Yes.
02:02How long is it?
02:03About like a five minute wash.
02:04Whoa.
02:05At least a double to triple cleanse.
02:07Cause you'll be surprised at how much excess dirt and debris comes off.
02:11Okay.
02:12Cause even people will cleanse like two times and then take a toner pad and still remove
02:15so much stuff that they'll see.
02:17It is crazy.
02:18Okay, five minute wash.
02:20I'm like a 30 second special.
02:22I know you are.
02:27So this is an enzyme cleanser that has bromelain, kumquat, papaya, and I love gentle enzymes
02:33cause they're great at eating away dead skin without stripping the barriers.
02:37So sometimes I like to leave this cleanser on a little bit longer.
02:40So when I take it off, clients don't feel dry or stripped.
02:42They just feel more refreshed before I start the treatment.
02:45I mean, the gloves right now are really good.
02:48Like the sound they're making in my ear.
02:51I watch ASMR to go to sleep, but it's shelf organization.
03:00Oh my God.
03:01I have such tea to tell you.
03:02Oh my God.
03:03I can't wait.
03:04We probably shouldn't do it.
03:05It's not now.
03:06I know.
03:07Yeah.
03:08I was about to say, we probably shouldn't do it on camera.
03:09That's not for now.
03:10Oh, it's so good.
03:27Do you want to smell it?
03:29It's like if like milk and sauv blanc and like peroxide had a baby.
03:39Okay.
03:40Interesting.
03:41That's not what I usually I get.
03:43What do you usually get?
03:44Like egg yolk.
03:45Oh, wait, really?
03:46Wait, can I smell the brush?
03:49Yeah, I get that.
03:50I can get egg yolk.
03:53Am I getting hungry thinking about it?
03:55Mmm.
03:56Hot dog.
03:57Hot dog.
03:59My record is five in one sitting.
04:01Oh my God.
04:02Tickles.
04:03It's tickling me.
04:04Try not to move.
04:05Fuck.
04:15Right here.
04:16Right here.
04:17You're going to see her pulse.
04:19So now she's going to be sitting for about 40 to 45 minutes.
04:23And that's it.
04:24We're going to step out so she could relax.
04:54How are you feeling Maddie?
04:57As it starts to harden, she's going to feel tight, itchy, a little sensitivity.
05:11That's all part of the process of the circulation happening.
05:14But usually clients can get through it for like the first 25, 30 minutes and then the last
05:1910 minutes is when it really starts to harden and they feel the pulse of the treatment.
05:23Mm-hmm.
05:24It's really tight and really itchy.
05:26Right?
05:27Mm-hmm.
05:28Where do you feel it pulsating the most?
05:30In your decollete.
05:31And your decollete.
05:32Mm-hmm.
05:33It's where a lot of the lymph nodes are getting that circulation.
05:44All right.
05:45Are we ready?
05:46Mm-hmm.
05:47It's time to take it off.
05:48I'm about to free you.
05:49I'm about to free you.
06:00I have to move my mouth again.
06:03That was so itchy.
06:05I think when the enzymes start to freeze the face and it kind of like just tugs and pulls,
06:12it just starts to give more of just like an itchy sensation because of like your nerves.
06:16Mm-hmm.
06:17And the sensation of the circulation of your veins.
06:20So that's why people tend to feel a little bit of that itchiness because it's like very stimulating.
06:27I felt like I had like direct scooped pre-workout and like it's just itchy and tingly everywhere.
06:33Mm-hmm.
06:35You were not lying when you said mummify.
06:37Oh, yeah.
06:38No, I wasn't.
06:39I wasn't joking, huh?
06:40Mm-mm.
06:49Let me know if it's too hot.
06:51She got a really good plasma effect.
06:54Like this is what we're looking for and she got a really good one.
07:00So I'll turn off the steam.
07:02Sorry, I know it gets everywhere.
07:03Sure.
07:04It's really messy.
07:05I didn't want to eat it.
07:06She's getting all the circulation through her capillaries and her veins.
07:13And this is what we call the plasma effect.
07:15You could see it up here in her forehead all around the face to make sure that we're touching base, lifting, detoxifying, strengthening of the barrier.
07:25So once we completely melt this off and I get a lot of good circulation, her skin is going to feel so soft and amazing.
07:33We're going to go back to quickly just melting more of the excess off and get her nice and dry for her surprise.
07:39Surprise.
07:40Yay.
07:41Surprise.
07:42Surprise, surprise.
07:43Surprise.
07:44I mean, since this is such a natural treatment just for skin health in general, you could do it up to once a month if people wanted to.
07:53It's one of my favorite treatments and it's one of a lot of my clients like to do.
08:00Oh my God, it feels so nice.
08:06I've been thinking about it.
08:09In and out right now.
08:11That sounds so good.
08:12Right?
08:13Or like Shake Shack.
08:15Oh, yummy.
08:17I just want a burger.
08:20So.
08:21Or animal style fries.
08:23You could touch your skin for a split second.
08:25What the fuck?
08:27Oh yeah.
08:29Whoa.
08:31Mm-hmm.
08:33That's not my skin.
08:35Oh my gosh.
08:40That's crazy.
08:42Mm-hmm.
08:43Okay.
08:44No.
08:45No good.
08:46Enough.
08:49So now I'm actually going to do a plasma delivery treatment that's going to create little micro channels that open up her skin so that the next product that I'm going to use, which is going to be another little surprise,
09:01is going to give her that nice, beautiful, tight glow that she's looking for.
09:06Ready?
09:07Ready?
09:12Ooh.
09:19More tingle sensations.
09:20So the next surprise that I'm going to put on you is salmon DNA.
09:30What?
09:31What?
09:32This is going to rejuvenate your epidermis, give you a beautiful, hydrated, dewy glow.
09:38I'm so excited.
09:39And it's really going to strengthen the top layer of your skin.
09:43Oh my god.
09:44I've been thinking about this since I was in Australia.
09:49I've been waiting for this moment.
09:52It feels so good.
10:03Salmon DNA.
10:11The next thing I'm going to add is just this mask that's going to lock everything in.
10:16It just has some aloe and hyaluronic acid.
10:19Pretty much lock in all the hydration that we just put.
10:31So it's going to sit and lock in for about five to ten minutes while she's under the blue light
10:37to kind of help reduce the redness from the plasma treatment so her skin can look more calm
10:42so she doesn't look crazy leaving.
10:45Because we never want clients to look crazy leaving, especially when they're going to be out in public.
10:50So we're going to hide that a little bit.
10:51So the cryotherapy is going to calm the skin and incubate and lock everything in
10:57and kind of just reduce that redness so she has more of a glow undertone.
11:01So then we're just going to let it sit.
11:03Then you're going to see the wow factor.
11:04Oh, this is fun. I like these.
11:05And then we're just going to add some blue light therapy.
11:08Blue light helps with redness, inflammation.
11:10It's antimicrobial and it's very calming to the skin.
11:14It's going to sit for about ten minutes.
11:15Is it on?
11:16Yep.
11:17Oh.
11:19So we're going to lift.
11:20All the redness has come down and she's just going to be looking really healthy and hydrated.
11:26I feel clean.
11:28Yeah?
11:30I feel like whatever film of wrong was on my face before is now gone.
11:36Good.
11:37Do you feel like you just detoxed everything out of your life?
11:39Crazy.
11:40In the best way.
11:41My eyelids feel funny.
11:43Nope.
11:45Okay.
11:46No touching.
11:47Period.
11:48Period.
11:49But if you could keep this on and sleep in it and just like not touch it,
11:52the more benefits it will be for your skin.
11:54I just want, I'm just going to do mascara.
11:56Yeah.
11:57A massive lip liner.
11:58At least I would say for about a week I wouldn't use exfoliants.
12:03Okay.
12:04I would actually just focus on hydration.
12:05Okay, perfect.
12:06Sarah's petting my head and again laughing.
12:09She's freshly exfoliated and she has a lot of good beneficial hydrating ingredients into the skin.
12:16So let's try to leave it on for as long as we can and then just focus on hydration.
12:20Yes, sure.
12:21Thank you, Sarah.
12:22You're welcome.
12:23Okay.
12:24What the hell?
12:26I am the mirror.
12:28Look at those pores.
12:30Which where?
12:31Oh my God.
12:36So clean.
12:37Did you get this treatment again?
12:39A hundred times over.
12:41I would just like maybe like take a beta blocker for the panic of having to sit still.
12:48I would do this every month.
12:49Bye, Laura.
12:50Thanks for coming with me.
12:51Wait.
12:52Look.
12:53I'm so shiny.
12:54Not me looking at my reflection in the lens.
12:59Bye.
13:01Bye.
13:12Bye.
13:16Bye.
