00:06rep as a versatile sport touring machine. It's not trying to be the biggest, baddest bike on the

00:11block, but what it does offer is something way more useful, a perfect blend of fun, practicality,

00:17and comfort. And with the 2025 Tracer 7 GT, Yamaha has taken that formula and made it even better.

00:26What's new for 2025? Quite a bit, actually. Yamaha didn't just give the bike a facelift,

00:33they gave it real upgrades where it counts. The 2025 model now meets 5 euro plus emission standards,

00:40but still pumps out 72 brake horsepower and 50 lbft of torque thanks to that tried and true 689

00:47cubic centimeter CP2 parallel twin engine. If you've ridden a CP2 before, you know it's punchy,

00:54reliable, and just the right amount of lively for road riding and touring alike.

00:59Even with the stricter emission standards, the ride feels smoother and more refined.

01:09Just more polished all around. Touring upgrades galore. Let's talk about what makes the GT version

01:16stand out. This bike is made to travel. It now comes standard with proper touring panniers,

01:21a taller windscreen, heated grips, and even a center stand. All the good stuff you typically

01:27have to pay extra for. The seat has also been upgraded. It's more comfortable and now height

01:33adjustable, sitting at 845 millimeters. Whether you're commuting to work or doing a long-distance

01:40ride, your butt will thank you. The suspension has also been beefed up. You're now getting stiffer

01:4741 millimeters inverted forks up front with adjustable damping. And out back, there's a

02:11The handlebars are now 30 millimeters taller and 50 millimeters wider, giving you a more upright and

02:31Tech-wise, the 2025 GT gets a serious upgrade with a new 5-inch full-color TFT display.

02:44and even connects to your smartphone via USB-C. Speaking of electronics, the bike now comes with

02:52ride-by-wire throttle, which unlocks three selectable ride modes, along with cruise control for those long,

02:59straight stretches. The gearbox has been refined for smoother shifts, and there's a new slipper clutch

03:04that not only makes the lever easier to pull, but also helps when downshifting aggressively.

03:10Brakes, weight, and value. For the first time, the Tracer 7 GT now features radio brakes,

03:17which provide better feel and stopping power. Yamaha decided not to go with their ultralight

03:22spin-forged wheels, saying they were too lightweight for the GT's touring duties. Fair enough.

03:28At 212kg wet, it's still a very manageable bike. Not too heavy, not too light. And when you look at

03:36everything you're getting for the price, 10,104 pounds, it's honestly a bargain. You get serious
