00:14I didn't know I'd be treated this nicely. This is great.
00:30President Trump and I have a common goal. We want to achieve the release of our hostages.
00:40We want to end Hamas rule in Gaza. We want to make sure that Gaza does not pose a threat to Israel anymore.
00:47In pursuing this common goal, we have a common strategy. Not only do we have a common strategy, we have common tactics.
00:55This doesn't involve pressure. It doesn't involve coercion. It involves full coordination.
01:01President Trump wants a deal, but not at any price. I want a deal, but not at any price.
01:08Israel has security requirements and other requirements, and we're working together to try to achieve it.
01:15Is pushing out Palestinians to countries where they have no connection to going to make Israel safer in the long run?
01:22We're not pushing out anyone, and I don't think that's President Trump's suggestion.
01:25His suggestion was giving them a choice. You have a choice.
01:30Where do you live, madam? Where do you live? In D.C.? Are you an American citizen?
01:35Yes.
01:36Do you think you have a right to go to another country if you seek to do so?
01:39But the Palestinians should have that right. It's called the freedom of choice, but nothing more than that.
01:44No coercion, no forcible dislocation. If people want to leave Gaza, they should have the right to do so and not be held at the point of a gun of Hamas to keep them inside if they want to leave.
01:55No coercion, no coercion, no coercion.
02:06Can I ask how you'll meet you and Netanyahu went over the last couple of days, and how realistic do you think a ceasefire is this week?
02:11Well, we're talking about Gaza for the most part. I think we have a chance this week or next week. Not definitely. There's nothing definite about war and Gaza and all of the other places that we all deal with so much.
02:25But there's a very good chance that we'll have a settlement, an agreement of some kind this week, and maybe next week if not.
02:33Axio says a secret White House meeting between Steve Witkoff, Ron Dermer, and a Qatari envoy on Tuesday led to significant progress in the negotiations over the Gaza hostage and ceasefire deal.
02:44What can you tell us about this secret meeting?
02:46It's very possible. I will tell you we're getting very close to a deal. I don't know if it's secret or not secret, but it doesn't matter to me.
02:52Secret's fine if it gets us to where we want to be. We want to have a ceasefire. We want to have peace.
02:57We want to get the hostages back, and I think we're close to doing it. Okay?
03:01Thank you all very much. Thank you very much. Thank you.
