00:00This morning for the hard-working men and women of AFSCME District Council 33
00:05and for every resident and business in the city of Philadelphia
00:09that the work stoppage involving District Council 33 in the city of Philadelphia, it is over.
00:17It is true that we have reached a tentative agreement with District Council 33
00:23on a new three-year contract that, once approved by the union's membership,
00:31coupled with the one-year contract extension we agreed to last November,
00:37it will increase District Council 33 members' pay by 14% over my four years in office.
00:47One of the things we have been talking about through all of this
00:51is the need to restore a sense of trust in government.
00:58We also know in District Council 33, President Boulware, respectfully,
01:06I know that we're going to need some healing time.
01:10You can't get through something as intense as this
01:15and not have to go through healing time, but our city is here.
01:20I'm here.
01:22We're going to work in partnership with our District Council 33, men and women,
01:29because that's the only way that we can realize what you all always hear me talk about.
01:34And what is that?
01:35One Philly, a united city?
01:37You can't do it unless we work during this time
01:41to make sure that we are healing wounds, and we want to do that.
